Abstract
⺠Ion-milling induced surface roughening and patterning found in bulk metallic glasses. ⺠Thickness variation causes the inhomogeneous contrast in TEM images of BMG samples. ⺠The dynamic roughening process was determined from Zr-, Cu-, Fe- and Mg-based BMGs.
