Abstract
⺠Good resistance of Ti-46Al-8Ta to cyclic oxidation in air for up to 1000 h. ⺠Negligible material loss, micrometric thickness and very good adhesion of scale. ⺠Composition and structure of scale on Ti-46Al-8Ta and Ti-46Al-8Nb similar. ⺠Micromechanical properties of scale better on Ti-46Al-8Ta.
