Abstract
⺠Solidification of Ti45Al2Mn2Nb1B at high cooling rate was studied. ⺠Beta remains the primary solidifying phase in the studied cooling rate range. ⺠High cooling rate affects the onset of boride precipitation and its morphology. ⺠High cooling rate may change the solidification path. ⺠Boron addition refines alpha grain size and helps breaking down Burgers OR.
