Abstract
⺠Phase equilibria in the Mg-Ti-Ni system were investigated at 500 °C. ⺠One ternary compound Mg3TiNi2 was identified. ⺠TiNi phase dissolves up to 25 at.% Mg at 500 °C. ⺠Mg3TiNi2 and Mg0.5Ti0.67Ni0.83 intermetallics absorb hydrogen at room temperature.
