Abstract
⺠A three-stage oxidation behaviour for BMG is observed. ⺠A transition of diffusion mechanism during oxidation of BMG is proposed. ⺠The mechanism relies on stabilization and crystallization of amorphous matrix of BMG. ⺠The oxidation of the pre-annealed alloy is governed by inward lattice diffusion of oxygen.
