Abstract
► The 3Nb2O5·B2O3 phase was formed for the oxidation of Nbss+T2 (Nb-14Si-6B) alloy. ► The B2O3 phase controls the oxidation process of the T2-phase alloy at early stages. ► No glassy films were observed for Nbss+T2 and T2 alloys after oxidation.
