Abstract
⺠Investigation of the phase-separated microstructure in Zr35Gd20Al25âxNi20+x alloys. ⺠Molten Zr35Gd20Al23Ni22 undergoes metastable liquid phase separation. ⺠Enough GFA enabling formation of 1 mm diameter phase-separating glass. ⺠Selection of phase separation mechanism is affected by the degree of undercooling. ⺠The composition of the separated glasses is strongly affected by kinetic condition.
