Abstract
⺠Ternary intermetallics Ce9Ru4Ga5 and La9Ru4In5 with new structural types. ⺠Unusual short Ce-Ru contacts in Ce9Ru4Ga5. ⺠The average valence of cerium in intermetallic Ce9Ru4Ga5 is higher than three. ⺠Short Ce-Ru contacts can be an indication of Ce atoms in intermediate valence state.
