Abstract
⺠Parameters important to glass formation and “high entropy alloy (HEA)” formation were considered. ⺠Alloys capable of forming both amorphous and random solid solutions were produced. ⺠The ability of these alloys to form glasses differs from some other reported HEAS. ⺠This is due to the differences in vacancy formation enthalpy and heat of mixing of the alloys.
