Abstract
The reversible order - disorder phase transition of the type D03 â A2 leads to a transient anelastic effect at about 555â¯Â°C and 520â¯Â°C respectively upon heating and cooling of the Fe-19 Ga-0.15â¯Tb alloy. Vibrating sample magnetometry results are in a good agreement with the internal friction measurements, demonstrating the occurrence of an ordering reaction at 510â¯Â°C during cooling.
