Abstract
Hollow Fe3O4 nanoparticles decorated CNTs/graphene/C composites were successfully synthesized using a facile solvent method and a process of high temperature calcination. In addition, in order to research the effect of absorbers' composition on the microwave absorbing performance, hollow Fe3O4 nanoparticles decorated CNTs/C composites and the hollow Fe3O4 nanoparticles decorated graphene/C composites were also synthesized. As EM wave absorbers, we tested the electromagnetic absorption properties of the paraffin composites containing 20â¯wt% of the prepared composites. The maximum reflection loss of the three paraffin composites was â54.43â¯dB, â39.52â¯dB and â45.40â¯dBâ¯at 11.4â¯GHz, 9.7â¯GHz and 7.8â¯GHz with a thickness of 1.9â¯mm, 2.4â¯mm and 2.8â¯mm, respectively. The absorption bandwidth (<-10â¯dB) of the maximum reflection loss value was 3.2â¯GHz, 2.72â¯GHz and 2.8â¯GHz, respectively. The excellent electromagnetic absorption properties were attributed to the special structure and ingredients, impedance matching and microwave attenuation.
