Abstract
⺠Solid solution of Cu-Nb was achieved by mechanically alloying Cu, Nb and ZrO2. ⺠In as-milled state the Cu-Nb-ZrO2 powders show an average Cu grain size of 16 nm. ⺠Mechanical and electrical properties are studied in dependence of thermal exposure. ⺠Compaction at 1000 °C/1 min using SPS increases Cu grain size to 43 nm. ⺠Bulk samples reach a maximum IACS of 16% and 98% relative density.
