Abstract
⺠Addition of small amounts of Zn to Sn-Ag-Cu leads to an increase in flow stress. ⺠The Sn-1Ag-0.3Cu-1Zn alloy exhibits higher flow stress than the Sn-3Ag-0.5Cu alloy. ⺠Addition of Zn to Sn-Ag-Cu suppressed the deterioration of flow stress after the aging treatment. ⺠Zn addition to Sn-Ag-Cu alloys inhibited the growth of intermetallic compounds.
