Abstract
⺠Nanocrystalline phases are present in silver phosphate glassy matrix embedded with CdI2. ⺠The size of the nanocrystallites depends on the phosphate network. ⺠The presence of different nanocrystalline phases does not affect the basic glass network. ⺠The glass transition temperature increases with increase of CdI2 content.
