Abstract
•Probability distributions of electric field and potential are computed directly.•Asymptotic analysis and statistics of these distributions were found.•Distributions for electric field are independent of particle size distribution.•Results are compared against known bounds on effective properties and variances.
Probability distributions of electric field and electric potential in two-phase particulate composite materials with spherical inclusions are found in the limit of small particle concentration.
