Abstract
VS4 microspheres winded by (1â¯1â¯0)-oriented nanotubes are successfully synthesized via a facile hydrothermal method. When applied as anode for sodium ion batteries, it exhibits high rate capacities with the reversible capacities of 686, 496 and 453â¯mAhgâ1 at 0.05, 0.2 and 1.0â¯Agâ1 in the voltage window of 0.01-3.0â¯V. This work paves a new pathway for the further application of metal sulfides in energy storage and conversion field.
