Abstract
Superamphiphobic MoS2 film consisted of dense nanoflowers was prepared on steel by a facile hydrothermal method. Droplets of water and hexadecane could roll off the superamphiphobic MoS2 film with contact angles (CAs) greater than 150° and sliding angle (SAs) less than 10°. Potentiodynamic polarization curves and EIS diagrams of the bare steel and the prepared sample indicated that corrosion resistance of the steel was significantly enhanced by superamphiphobic MoS2 film. Furthermore, the superamphiphobic MoS2 film displayed the long-term and stable anti-corrosion property.
