Abstract
In this study, a graphene/SiNWs microcomposite was used as the anode for Li-ion battery. The graphene was obtained by electrochemical exfoliation, SiNWs had porous and aligned structures to construct adequate ion transport paths and avoid aggregation of graphene. The graphene/SiNWs anode can effectively enhance the electrical conductivity and overcome volume changes of silicon during cycling. These results suggest that graphene/SiNWs is a promising material for high performance Li-ion battery applications.
