Abstract
This paper considers the optimal control of a rigid body rotation about the Euler axis with the help of three rotors with internal friction moments, using Euler parameters. The optimal control law which stabilizes asymptotically this motion and minimize the require like-energy cost is obtained only in terms of the kinematic attitude parameters. Numerical study and simulation are introduced.
