Abstract
One-dimensional MoS2 nanotubes were synthesized by using halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) as template and the thermolytical approach. The structure and morphology of MoS2 nanotubes were determined by a series of characterizations. The as-synthesized MoS2 nanotubes presented a hollow nanotubular structure with the pore diameter of 2.52â¯nm and the specific surface area of 89.34â¯m2/g. The formation mechanism of MoS2 nanotubes was proposed.
