Abstract
The {101¯1} twin in β-quenched Zr-1.0Sn-1.0Nb-0.3Fe (wt%) alloy was characterized by transmission Kikuchi diffraction (TKD) and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). Basal-prismatic (BPy) and prismatic-basal (PyB) interfaces were observed at {101¯1} twinning boundary disconnections in zirconium for the first time. The migration mechanism of twinning boundaries (TBs) attributed to the glide of twinning disconnections was proposed.
