Abstract
In this paper, we firstly prepared V0.13Mo0.87O2.935/MoS2 nanocomposites via in-situ hydrothermal approach based on the NH4VO3 and MoS2 as precursors. The structures and morphologies of the obtained products indicated that the cluster composites have flower-like structure with an average particle size of about 2â¯Âµm assembled by regular nanosheets and they were comprised of 2H-MoS2 phase and hexagonal V0.13Mo0.87O2.935 phase. Furthermore, the visible-driven photocatalytic experiment results showed that the V0.13Mo0.87O2.935/MoS2 composites display better degradation ability in contrast to pure MoS2 and the optimal V0.13Mo0.87O2.935 (10â¯wt%)/MoS2 sample with the largest K value of 0.04908â¯minâ1 showed the most significant total removal rate of Rhodmine B (RhB) is up to 96.72%. Finally, the enhanced photocatalytic activities of the products could be attributed to the suppression of charge recombination by confined space effect.
