Abstract
The porous spherical-like 3D self-assembled WO2/MoO3@C nanocomposites were successfully synthesized by a facile one-step hydrothermal route. When used as anode materials for LIBs, WO2/MoO3@C nanocomposites deliver a stable discharge capacity of 1123 mAh·g−1 after 100 cycles at a current density of 0.15 A·g−1 and an excellent rate performance with discharge capacity of 75 mAh·g−1 at 10 A·g−1, as well as backing to the same stage when the current density reverts to 0.2 A·g−1. The electrochemical measurement results proved that WO2/MoO3@C nanocomposites would be a promising anode materials for lithium ion battery.
