Abstract
Sintering of MnCo2O4 coatings prepared by electrophoretic deposition on steel substrates has been studied in air and in reducing-oxidizing atmosphere. Effect of temperature and pO2 on the resulting coating density was evaluated from scanning electron microscopy images of polished cross sections. Best sample microstructure defined by having high density and no cracks, was found after a reduction at 1000â¯Â°C and reoxidation at 900â¯Â°C.
