Abstract
Biphase particulate magnetoelectric ceramics (1-x)Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3-xLa0.67Sr0.33MnO3 (xâ¯=â¯0.05, 0.15, 0.25 and 0.35) were prepared using the powder-in-sol precursor hybrid method. Effect of magnetic field on polarization response in composites was studied, by analyzing the magnetodielectric effect and ferroelectric loops under the applied magnetic field. The switching of magnetodielectric effect and the variation ferroelectric polarization is mainly determined by the competitive mechanisms of magnetoresistance and magnetostriction. Furthermore, the direct magnetoelectric output was carried out and the maximum ME voltage coefficient reached up to 19.1â¯mV/cm·Oe for the xâ¯=â¯0.15 composite.
