Abstract
Protein nanofiber scaffolds were produced by electrospin coating for biomedical applications. Therefore, protein such as bovine serum albumin, gobulin and hemoglobin were used as scaffold for tissue engineering. The nanofiber diameters were found to be 75Â nm of globulin, 117Â nm for hemoglobin and 220Â nm for BSA. The protein nanofibers were characterized by using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Scanning electron microscopy, Transmission electron microscopy and Atomic force microscopy.
