Abstract
In the current status, we have successfully synthesized SnS2 thin film by using economically cheap and non vacuum arrested precipitation technique (APT) for photoelectrochemical (PEC) solar cell application for the first time. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern confirms the formation of pure hexagonal crystal structure. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) micrographs illustrate the formation of spherical surface morphology with homogeneous coverage of substrate surface. PEC study demonstrates 0.0023 % conversion efficiency.
