Abstract
Commercial ink-jet printer was applied to print defined pattern on the titanium base oxidation layer which was covered with a superhydrophobic coating. Then the superhydrophobic molecules in some regions were degraded under ultraviolet radiation to get a superhydrophobic/ superhydrophilic micro-pattern. Afterwards, CaP film with different morphologies was deposited onto the superhydrophobic and the superhydrophilic regions by electrochemical methods. The plate-like CaP films which formed on superhydrophilic zones had a more porous surface than those on superhydrophobic zones. In vitro cell culture experiment results showed that flat CaP coatings in superhydrophobic zones were better for MG63 osteoblast-like cells adhesion than the CaP film coating in superhydrophilic zone.
