Abstract
Dye-loaded layered porous anodic alumina membrane was made successfully by the process of periodic anodizing, dye loading and Pt nanolayer sputtering on both sides of sample surface. An obvious lasing is observed and the lasing emission peak is consistent with the edge of the photonic bandgap of the layered anodic alumina. In addition, the lasing peak can be adjusted easily by changing the position of photonic bandgap in this one-dimensional photonic crystal structures. Our research may be helpful to the development of laser devices based on photonic crystals.
