Abstract
NaBi3V2O10 nanoparticles were prepared via the Pechini method. The structural refinement, morphological characteristic, energy dispersive X-ray spectrum (EDX), and UV-vis absorption spectrum were investigated. The photocatalytic activities were evaluated by the photodegradation of methylene blue (MB) under visible-light irradiation. These results indicate that NaBi3V2O10 could be a potential photocatalyst driven by visible-light. The photocatalysis was attributed to the structure specialties such as rich polarizable chains, (Bi2O2)2+ sheets, and a good conductivity in NaBi3V2O10.
