Abstract
AgYb1âxEux(MoO4)2 (x=0.01-1) solid solution phosphors were prepared by conventional solid state reaction. The samples were characterized by XRD measurements, photoluminescence (PL) spectra, temperature dependent PL spectra, the absolute luminescence internal quantum efficiency (QE) and CIE coordinates. Compared with commercial Y2O2S:Eu3+ phosphor, AgYb1âxEux(MoO4)2 could be efficiently excited by near UV and blue lights to realize stronger red emission with maximum QE of 62%. They present stable luminescence and color purity at high temperature by investigating temperature dependent PL spectra.
