Abstract
A novel flower-like 3-dimensional ZnO hierarchical structure with high uniformity has been fabricated on a large scale through a facile aqueous solution route at room temperature. The as-prepared ZnO hierarchical structures with a size of about 1 μm were assembled by large amounts of interleaving nanosheets, which have a uniform thickness of about 15 nm and a well-crystalline structure with {110} planes as basal facets. The morphology and crystal structure of the products changed with the increase of Na2O2 concentration. Finally, the hierarchical structures ZnO formed via a two-stage growth were also discussed.
