This paper presents the derivation of the general static load-carrying capacity of three row roller slewing bearings under axial load and tilting-moment. This calculation is a true generalization of Rumbarger's method and provides an acceptance curve in the load space. This acceptance curve provides an approximate quick way for the design and selection of bearings of this kind.
