Abstract
The effects of Mn on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg95Zn2.5Y2.5 alloys were investigated. The results showed that with the increasing of Mn content, the area fraction of phases with long-period stacking order (LPSO) structure increased while the area fraction of Mg3Zn3Y2 eutectic structure phases decreased, the microstructures were refined, and the mechanical properties were enhanced.
