Abstract
⺠Bioglass-based scaffolds are prepared via counterionic biopolymer assembly technique. ⺠Porous scaffolds exhibit excellent strength with increasing the cycles of assembly. ⺠The stress-strain response is high strain tolerance for the scaffolds in wet state. ⺠Soaking in SBF does not cause catastrophic failure in mechanical stability.
