Abstract
► A relatively high density of L12-structured (Al, Cr)3(Zr, Yb) dispersoids are precipitated in Al-Zr-Yb-Cr alloy. ► The (Al, Cr)3(Zr, Yb) dispersoid is coherent with the sizes remaining essentially 15 ~ 25 nm even after being exposed at 500°C for 400 h. ► The uniform and high density precipitation leads to an improvement of precipitation-hardening effect.
