Optical and surface properties of semiconducting glassy thin films prepared by RF sputtering technique from B2O3⋠ Na2O ⋠ MgO ⋠ V2O5:CoO glass targets

► 80B2O3+15Na2O+(5−x)MgO+xV2O5:(0.5CoO)(x=0.5,1) glasses were prepared as targets. ► These targets have been used to prepare semiconducting glassy thin films. ► RF sputtering technique was used for the formation of these thin films. ► Changes on the physical properties due to varying V2O5 ratios were examined.
