Abstract
⺠A simple hydrothermal method to prepare a novel daisy-like Y(OH)3:Eu microstructure. ⺠This microstructure preserved after heat treatment. ⺠NaOH and C4H4O6KNa play important roles for the formation of unique microstructure. ⺠Microscale Y2O3:Eu shows stronger emission intensity than the nanoscale counterpart.
