Abstract
The coating manufacture on the complex-shaped parts still has many technical difficulties in the real industry. In this study, the Ti-Ni coating was in-situ manufactured during hot isostatic pressing of Ti6Al4V parts. The prepared coating was characterized in terms of microstructure, element distribution, phase composition as well as the mechanical properties, including microhardness and wear resistance. The present work preliminarily verified that hot isostatic pressing could be considered as a candidate for integrated manufacturing complex-shaped Ti6Al4V components with a wear-resistant coating.
