Abstract
⺠General integral equation of micromechanics of thermoelasticity is obtained. ⺠Effective properties and stress concentration factors in the phases are estimated. ⺠Numerical results are obtained for model composites with aligned noncanonical heterogeneities. ⺠Fundamentally new effects are detected.
