Abstract
⺠Main discharge and afterglow are affected by electrode configuration. ⺠Capacitance and power consumed for plasma generation were experimentally measured. ⺠Charged particle loss affects the generation of afterglow and the propagation speed. ⺠Propagation speeds of ionization front of afterglow plasmas were measured.
