Abstract
⺠MA process could be used for the deposition of NiAl coating at ambient atmosphere. ⺠Ball collisions cold welded powder particles to a substrate and formed coating ⺠The MA process was found to be capable of producing nanostructured coatings. ⺠After annealing treatment at 600 °C, only NiAl peaks are observed in XRD pattern. ⺠Annealing treatment improved the coating wear resistance and microhardness.
