Abstract
⺠Thick coatings are quickly formed on Ti-6Al-4V by plasma electrolytic oxidation. ⺠The coatings were composed of rutile, anatase and amorphous material. ⺠Passive current density of the coatings was lower for short treatment times. ⺠Coatings with long treatment time are more wear-resistant.
