Abstract
⺠A series of twenty ring-coating finite-element models is simulated. ⺠Geometry and material parameters are changed between the models. ⺠Thicker coatings presented more tensile radial stresses in the ring. ⺠Stiffer coatings presented more tensile surface axial stresses.
