Abstract
⺠Mixed WC and Ni powder to form various compositions of mechanical blends. ⺠Fabricated WC-based metal matrix composite coatings using low-pressure cold-spray. ⺠Increased amount of WC particles in the coating improved coating hardness. ⺠Coating hardness was explained using mean free path and rule of mixtures method. ⺠Low temperature prevented decarburization of the WC particles.
