Abstract
⺠Analysis of thermal cutting tool loads using innovative sensory coating systems is presented. ⺠Suitable calibration method is required to obtain quantitative conclusions. ⺠The calibration with chip root and the calibration in an oil bath are presented. ⺠Both calibration methods are compared with the results of thermal imaging.
