Abstract
⺠PEO (plasma electrolytic oxidation) for production of oxide coatings on an AM60B. ⺠Two different hybrid (combination of unipolar and bipolar) current modes were used. ⺠Coating failure behavior of PEO coatings was studied. ⺠This is the first attempt to use the inclined impact-sliding wear to test PEO coatings. ⺠Microstructure, tribological properties and corrosion resistance were determined.
