Abstract
⺠Reactivity of Ni-Al nano-foils at 1000 K has been studied by molecular dynamics. ⺠NiAl intermetallic phase formation is rapidly initiated at the interfaces. ⺠Rounded shape grains surrounded by highly amorphous grain boundaries are observed. ⺠Numerical observations corroborate experimental investigations by HR-TEM imaging.
