Abstract
⺠Stellite 6 deposited on steel using CS is difficult; ⺠Stellite 6 deposited on steel using LC results in dilution, oxidation and low build rates; ⺠SLD is new coating process which combines a cold spray with a laser; ⺠Compare with LC, SLD offers solid state deposition, low oxidation, no dilution; ⺠SLD offers high build rates, and lower the friction coefficient and weight loss in wear test.
