Abstract
⺠The aluminothermic reduction of MnO in the galvanizing bath was investigated. ⺠It was determined that the proposed reaction occurs. ⺠The Al2O3 and dissolved Mn reaction products were directly observed. ⺠The reaction obeys a linear reaction kinetic for all reaction times investigated.
